Material Release Policy

This Material Release Policy (“Policy”) explains how Local Veterinary Health (“LVH,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may use photographs, videos, reviews, testimonials, written content, business information, pet-related content, and other materials submitted to or shared with LVH.

By submitting or providing materials to LVH, you agree to this Policy and grant the rights described below, subject to applicable law and any separate written agreement that may apply.

1. Materials Covered by This Policy

“Materials” may include, but are not limited to:

• Photographs and images
• Videos
• Audio recordings
• Reviews and ratings
• Testimonials
• Comments and community posts
• Pet photographs and stories
• Business photographs and videos
• Business logos and trademarks
• Business descriptions
• Service and product descriptions
• Marketing materials
• Social media content
• Artwork and graphics
• Documents
• Other content submitted through LVH

2. Your Responsibility

When you submit Materials to LVH, you confirm that you have the right and authority to submit those Materials and permit LVH to use them as described in this Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that your Materials:

• Are accurate where accuracy is represented.
• Do not infringe another person’s intellectual property rights.
• Do not violate another person’s privacy or publicity rights.
• Do not contain confidential information that you are not authorized to disclose.
• Do not contain unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or harmful content.
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations.

If your Materials include another identifiable person, you are responsible for obtaining any consent required by applicable law.

3. Ownership of Your Materials

You generally retain ownership of Materials that you submit to LVH.

Submitting Materials does not automatically transfer ownership of those Materials to LVH.

However, by submitting Materials, you grant LVH the license described below.

4. License Granted to LVH

By submitting Materials to LVH, you grant Grinnell Enterprises LLC d/b/a Ubudog, operating Local Veterinary Health, a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, publish, format, modify, adapt, and use the Materials as reasonably necessary to:

• Operate the LVH Platform.
• Display business listings and user profiles.
• Display reviews and testimonials.
• Provide community features.
• Promote LVH.
• Market LVH and its Services.
• Improve the Platform.
• Create promotional or informational materials.
• Support advertising and marketing activities.
• Provide related LVH Services.

This license does not transfer ownership of your Materials to LVH.

5. Business-Submitted Materials

Businesses may submit Materials for their LVH listings or advertising campaigns.

These may include:

• Business names
• Logos
• Brand assets
• Photos
• Videos
• Service descriptions
• Product information
• Business descriptions
• Promotional materials
• Website links
• Other business information

By submitting these Materials, the business represents that it has the necessary rights and authorization to provide them to LVH.

The business authorizes LVH to display and use these Materials in connection with the business listing, advertising, promotion, and operation of the Services.

6. Photos and Videos

Photos and videos submitted to LVH may be displayed on:

• LVH website pages
• Business listings
• User profiles
• Mobile applications
• Community pages
• Promotional pages
• Social media channels
• Digital advertising
• Other LVH marketing materials

You should only submit photos or videos that you have permission to use.

7. Pet-Related Materials

LVH may allow users to submit photographs, videos, stories, or other content relating to their pets.

You confirm that you have the right to submit such content.

You should avoid including sensitive personal information about yourself, another person, or an animal’s owner unless you are authorized to do so.

8. Reviews and Testimonials

If you submit a review, rating, testimonial, or other feedback, LVH may display that content through the Services.

Depending on the feature, the content may appear together with:

• Your name or username
• Profile information
• Business name
• Rating
• Date of submission
• Profile photograph
• Other information associated with your submission

Reviews and testimonials should represent genuine experiences and should not contain intentionally false or misleading information.

9. Editing and Formatting

LVH may make reasonable changes to submitted Materials to support the operation and presentation of the Services.

This may include:

• Resizing images
• Cropping images
• Compressing files
• Formatting text
• Creating excerpts
• Correcting technical formatting
• Adjusting content for different devices
• Translating content where appropriate

We will not intentionally alter content in a way that materially misrepresents its original meaning.

10. Promotional Use

LVH may use submitted Materials to promote the Platform, businesses, services, or LVH-related initiatives.

Promotional use may include:

• Website content
• Mobile applications
• Email communications
• Social media
• Online advertising
• Marketing campaigns
• Promotional materials
• Presentations
• Other digital or printed communications

Where applicable law requires specific consent for a particular use, LVH will obtain the required consent.

11. No Guarantee of Publication

Submitting Materials does not guarantee that LVH will publish or use them.

LVH may, at its discretion:

• Publish Materials
• Decline to publish Materials
• Edit Materials
• Remove Materials
• Restrict visibility
• Move Materials
• Suspend Materials
• Remove Materials from a particular feature

We may take these actions for legal, technical, operational, safety, editorial, or policy reasons.

12. Prohibited Materials

You may not submit Materials that:

• Infringe intellectual property rights.
• Violate privacy or publicity rights.
• Contain unauthorized personal information.
• Are fraudulent or intentionally misleading.
• Contain malicious software.
• Impersonate another person or organization.
• Promote illegal activity.
• Contain threatening or abusive material.
• Violate applicable law.
• Violate the LVH Terms of Use.
• Otherwise create legal, security, or safety concerns.

LVH may remove or restrict Materials that violate this Policy.

13. Removal Requests

If you previously submitted Materials and would like to request their removal, contact us.

Please provide:

• Your name
• Contact information
• Description of the Materials
• Location of the Materials on LVH
• Reason for your request

We will review reasonable requests in accordance with applicable law and our operational requirements.

Some Materials may need to be retained for legal, security, transactional, fraud-prevention, or other legitimate purposes.

14. Copyright Complaints

If you believe that content displayed through LVH infringes your copyright, contact us with sufficient information to identify the copyrighted work and the allegedly infringing material.

Your request should include:

• Identification of the copyrighted work.
• Identification or location of the allegedly infringing material.
• Your contact information.
• An explanation of your rights in the work.
• A statement that you believe the use is unauthorized.
• A statement that the information in your request is accurate.

We may investigate and take appropriate action under applicable law.

15. Third-Party Materials

LVH may display content supplied by users, businesses, advertisers, service providers, or other third parties.

LVH does not necessarily verify ownership, accuracy, or completeness of every third-party submission.

If you believe third-party content violates your rights, please contact us.

16. Privacy

Personal information included in submitted Materials may be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You should not include sensitive personal information in publicly visible Materials unless you are authorized and understand that the information may become publicly accessible.

17. No Obligation to Return Materials

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, LVH is not obligated to return submitted Materials.

You should retain your own copies of important photographs, videos, documents, and other content submitted to LVH.

18. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Material Release Policy from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
